DAS-Owned Buildings
The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) owns and operates around three million square feet of building space. The buildings primarily contain general offices, but DAS also operates some industrial spaces that house laboratories, motor pools, computer centers, and print plants.

DAS designated its buildings as resource conservation zones. This means DAS works hard to save energy and water in its buildings, as well as ensure employees and tenants recycle to the best of their ability. The goal is to save taxpayer money and care for the environment to the greatest extent possible.
The links below contain information, fun facts, and history of DAS buildings.  They also include major projects, successes, and names of the Green Teams.  If you'd like to start a Green Team in your building, contact Elin Shepard, DAS Sustainability Coordinator, at (503) 373-7132.
