* Technical Assistance staff answers approximately 25,000 employer telephone and e-mail inquiries annually.
* Trainers conduct approximately 120 seminars per year, open to employers throughout the state, training an average of 6,000 individuals per year. In addition, the program holds an annual 2-day employment law conference every December.
* Trainers conduct over 80 customized seminars per year for individual companies and organizations, available for fee upon request.
* Staff writes weekly advice columns and maintains a treasure trove of Fact Sheets and FAQs on a wide variety of topics.
* The program publishes and sells six employer handbooks: Wage and Hour Laws; Civil Rights Laws; Family Leave Laws; Documentation, Discipline and Discharge; Policy Writing Guidelines; and Legal Hiring Practices.
* The program provides the required State Minimum Wage poster in English and Spanish and the Oregon Family Leave Law poster in English. These posters are provided free of charge to Oregon employers.
* An eight-in-one poster, "Commonly Required Posting for Oregon Employers", is available for purchase. It includes both state and federal required posters and is available in a version for agricultural employers. The program also publishes the "Guide to Employee Leave Laws" poster which covers federal and state leave law requirements.
