Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program

The Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program is open from April 3 through June 3, 2024. Funding for the Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program has now run out. If you purchase or lease an eligible vehicle from April 3, 2024, through June 3, 2024, you still have up to six months after the date of that purchase or lease to apply for a rebate. However, you may be placed on a waiting list to be paid once DEQ receives funding in early spring 2025. Please see DEQ's press release for more details.

Program update

Standard and Charge Ahead Rebate applicants can apply online and track the status of applications. The Center for Sustainable Energy, a third-party administrator, is reviewing and processing applications on behalf of the program.

The Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program is currently experiencing a wait time of up to two months to process your application. We appreciate your patience.

Charge Ahead Applicants

Oregon residents who meet the income eligibility criteria for a Charge Ahead rebate can get pre-qualified and use a rebate voucher at a participating dealership to purchase or lease a new or used eligible electric vehicle.

If you applied for a Charge Ahead Prequalification Voucher, DEQ will email confirmation of your submission, updates on your application and, if approved, your voucher, from noreply@nic.oregon.gov. The current wait time for a prequalification voucher is 3 - 4 weeks.
